Building a Conner home requires a dedicated team of professionals. Together, we have created an impressive portfolio of over 6,000 homes throughout the Pacific Northwest. Each home we build has the same attention to detail: extensive pre-planning, careful vendor and material selection, meticulous field supervision, and superior customer care.

Owner

Charlie Conner

Charlie Conner started working for his father in the summer of 1968 at the age of 13 as a construction laborer. He graduated from the University of Washington with a finance degree and started Chateau Development in 1988. In 2000, Charlie took control of Conner Homes and continued his father’s legacy of building great communities and customer experiences. Today, Charlie serves on the Executive Board and is an advisor to current president, Erin Fowler.

Erin Fowler

Erin joined the Conner Homes team in August 2019. She has over 30 years experience in the homebuilding industry, including Division President at Century Communities and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Quadrant Homes (Weyerhaeuser), where she spent 16 years.

VP of Construction

Scott Swantek

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Scott has been an integral part of Conner Homes since 2002. He oversees the company’s construction operations and procurement strategies, playing a critical role in delivering high-quality homes on time and within budget. His leadership and expertise ensure that each project meets Conner Homes’ high standards of excellence.

He has built a reputation for effectively managing complex projects, optimizing purchasing processes, and maintaining the quality that Conner Homes is known for. Scott’s extensive experience, strategic vision, and commitment to continuous improvement have been key to Conner Homes’ growth and success in the competitive housing market.

Nick Schmal

Nick has been intimately involved in the home building industry for over 20 years, combining his skills in communications with his technical knowledge He has owned his own company and held customer care/quality control roles at Crescent Homes, Charter Homes, and most recently, Conner Homes since 2013.

Land Operations Director

Dalton Smith

Dalton started as a summer intern at Conner Homes in 2010 before accepting a full-time position in 2012. He graduated from the University of Washington Construction Management program. Over the years, Dalton has had many different roles within the company but was primarily focused on homebuilding. As of April 2023, he started a new role within the land development side of the company.

Director of Sales

Pam Coovert

Pam brings over 20 years of experience in real estate sales and marketing to the Conner Homes team. With a background in new home sales and construction, she has a proven track record of success in driving revenue and exceeding targets. Prior to joining Conner Homes, Pam held key roles at reputable companies such as Quadrant Homes (Weyerhaeuser) and John L. Scott Real Estate.
