Fall is here! The days are getting shorter and the trees are beginning to lose their leaves. Want to make sure your home is ready for the colder weather? Get a jump start on with these fall maintenance tips before winter sets in. 

1. MAINTAIN THE FURNACE
   Fall is a good time to have your furnace or heating system serviced by a qualified service company. A well-tuned furnace will not only run at peak efficiency but can help you save money on your winter heating bills. 
   
   
2. CLEAN THE GUTTERS
   Clean leaves from roof and gutters and test downspouts to ensure proper drainage from the roof. Leaves and other debris can collect in gutters during fall months leading to poor drainage that can damage your roof and gutters. 
   
   
3. DRAIN AND STORE OUTDOOR HOSES
   Be sure your hoses are disconnected and hose-bibbs are frost-free. Have irrigation systems drained by a professional to prevent damage from freezing.
